Yu was launched in Singapore in 2006 as a cocktail and evening label, which received great reception and generous reviews from the press. The Yu collection comprises of modern silhouettes and a blend of natural fabrics like silk and cotton. Ruched and finely draped dresses are Yu’s signature style, with every new collection being quirky, sexy and oozing with contemporary charm.

In 2009, the bridal line Love, Yu was created, continuing and evolving the looks that are signature to Yu. Love, Yu bridal gowns are simple, timeless and chic. Since the launch it has been featured in various magazines such as US Brides, as well as on the New York talk show CNBC Squawk Box.

Designer Ee-Lyn Tang graduated with a bachelor’s in Economics and Sociology and worked in the banking industry before pursuing her life-long passion of fashion design. Driven by a desire to pursue her dreams, she enrolled and graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York.

With rich new experiences gained in fashion stints in both New York and Singapore, she then embarked on her dream in 2006 and started her label Yu and Love, Yu.
